Third outright and 1st in class.
Excellent work by Fiona navigating, good job from #lilmuzza hanging in there.

The new Dmack tyres from SA Motorsport Tyres work well. A big improvement over the years old Bridgestone Potenza’s. Currently running 175/75 r15 in a soft compound.
Some pre competition work was in order.
A visit to MCA Suspension for the Mazda 2 has worked well. After a number of years of no service a complete overhaul was required. The suspension fix was well worth it. A similar fate saw the exhaust require work prior to the event as it had given up and become squashed from rock damage. It now sounds better and seems to have increased the performance a little bit.
The Variable valve solenoid was also replaced. This gave us a bit more top end.
There was also some work on the False floor for both drivers and navigators side. A bit like a dog on wet lino previously with the floors just smooth paint.
It is fine to build a car, but they need constant attention. Without it they fall away and can become unsafe. Vehicle prep and vehicle safety is foremost on our minds. If you require any information, you can contact us in regards this.
