About Us
McM RallySport was born out of our passion for Rallying in 1988. It began in competition around 1993 in Canberra A.C.T.
Originally assisting in the organisation of events it began building and contesting vehicles in the NSW Gemini Rally series. Since that time, the team has gone on to build vehicles to contest State, National and International events with varying success. It has also facilitated event management for local and international rally teams and were an integral part of the organising team which brought FIA Rally status to the International Rally of Canberra from the late 90’s through to the mid 2000’s.
McM Rallysport currently contests Australian Rally Championship events, South Australian State along with Clubman rally events in their 2009 Toyota Corolla PRC Rally Car. They also have a smaller capacity vehicle competing in Rally Sprint events in the form of a 2008 Mazda 2 PRC Rally Car.
The team have been greatly assisted by Neil Trama Engineering for the vehicles engine and ECU setups. They have also been grateful of the support offered by Neal Bates Automotive with Toyota shell build information and parts.
